What is Freemasonry

The Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Nova Scotia define Freemasonry as:

"Freemasonry is an organization of like-minded men who accept a lifestyle based on a universal system of morality dedicated to the self-improvement of its members and thereby contributing to the building of a better community."

Freemasons are the oldest, largest Fraternity in the world. Freemasonry does not allow Political or Religious discussion in our Lodges, as all men who believe in a Divine Being are welcome to petition for membership. When one becomes a freemason he is a member of a  Philosophical, Educational and Charitable organization building a better community.

Why join Cornwallis Lodge?

Simple, although each Lodge is in essence the same, it's the warmth, friendship and opportunity for personal growth they offer within the Fraternity which makes them different. This is what makes one Lodge stand out from another, here at Cornwallis Lodge No.95 we enjoy the company of all ages, our lodge has a diverse membership. We welcome Brothers coming from afar to visit the Lodge which only serves to strengthen our Fraternity.  The officers in the Lodge span several generations with a wealth of experience complementing a youthful exuberance, making Cornwallis an enjoyable Lodge to belong to and develop yourself in.
